DOMESTIC EXTENSIONS (Scroll down to view all)

Before

After

An Edwardian Vicarage with no aspect onto the sunny garden, this extension provided a master bedroom suite, a kitchen and dining area with views onto the garden and a new sun lounge.

The house was also insulated and re-faced with brick slips and render to retain the character of the original building

Sun Lounge or Conservatory?

Conservatories may be less expensive but they invariably cannot be used for much of the year. They are either too hot or too cold!

This illustrates our best solution i.e. a Sun Lounge, lots of glass but a solid roof (see below).

Modern Extension

A New Bedroom over an existing kitchen extension. The windows and doors let more light into the original darkened rooms.

The building work also gave the opportunity for an interior refurbishment. This is the new Kitchen.

Old and New

Modern Extension

Re-orientation is not unusual! with barely any windows onto the southerly garden, this house was dark.

Our solution is an ultra modern extension moving the Kitchen, Dining room and Lounge onto the rear and incorporating folding glass doors.

SUSTAINABLE RETROFIT

This project is also a sustainability scheme and a "Super Retrofit".
