Sustainability isn't just another architectural movement. It's much more serious than that! KD recognised that as early as 1979 and in 1980 he designed "Fishpond Hill Farm" (shown here). From that point on, solar energy and climatic conditions played a part in the designs.
In the early 2000s KD wrote the Foundation Degree in Sustainable Construction for Somerset College and Plymouth University, the first of its kind in the country.
In 2004 KD studied Energy for a Sustainable Future with the Open University.
ECO-HOME (PAGE HOME NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)
This project has been on our books for around 30 years in various guises but it is, once again, in the Planning stage.
It provides a 3 bedroom retirement bungalow for our longest standing and most loyal clients.
This home will be constructed to "Passiv Haus" standards and is designed to be "Carbon Negative" i.e. it will take out more CO2 from the atmosphere than it contributes.
