SOLAR HOME (NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)

It was early days for Solar Thermal(hot water) so we made it up as we went along. The solar panels were home made using old radiators and we had a separate cylinder for solar hot water with separate outlets at each sink, bath, shower and hand basins.

Changing Times.

Although this was designed to twice that of the minimum Building Regulations, it would not meet today's minimum standard.

It incorporated some inovative features such as warm window and door reveals to illiminate cold bridging, later to be standard.
